Marine Layer unisex crews are made with their custom Signature Fabric: 50% Supima Cotton and 50% MicroModal. Modal comes from recycled beechwood, which is a natural and sustainable source of raw material. These crews are all made in CA (by adults). These shirts are the reason why Marine Layer exists. Not only are they the most absurdly soft shirts you'll ever wear, but they're also sustainable.

FULL CUSTOM CUT AND SEW AVAILABLE
For most of Marine Layer pieces, custom cut and sew is available at 500 units. Custom colors, labels, tags, print, and more. Pricing may differ based on customizations. Let's get you some custom clouds created.

ECO-FRIENDLY SOURCING
Modal, found in their signature fabric, is made from recycled beechwood. The pulp production is self-sufficient, which makes our tees sustainable, eco-friendly, and so. so. soft.

MADE RESPONSIBLY
98% of our custom stuff is produced in California, by adults. Marine Layer also visits every factory in person to make sure they’re as happy to be working with us as we are with them.

FABRIC-OBSESSED
They start at the fiber level to make sure everything’s as soft and durable as possible. Plus, they have made over 40 custom fabrics (and counting).

SO SOFT IT'S ABSURD
When we say our stuff is soft, we really mean it. It’s not like “oh wow, this feels nice” soft. It’s “holy sh!# how did they make this?” soft.

Marine Layer wants to close the loop on textile waste, so they started a tee recycling program called Re-Spun. Give us your old tees (any kind), get $5 retail credit per tee, and we’ll re-spin that fabric into new tees.
